Registration Help

If the financial burden of registration fees is preventing your player from joining the club, the Phantoms have a scholarship program that can waive 25-75% of spring registration fees. The program is completely private - only the club Treasurer and President will be involved in the final decision. Award is based on need, NOT on athletic ability.

Note that there are already small registration discounts for registering early and for families with multiple siblings.

To apply:

  • Send an email to the club treasurer (treasurer@phantomlacrosse.org) prior to filling out the registration
  • State the reason for the need. e.g. Single parent on low income, recent job loss, one-time financial hardship, etc
  • A short statement on why your player will benefit from the scholarship. e.g. fell in love with the sport, has a best friend playing
  • Request 25%, 50%, or 75% relief (your petition will apply to all members of your family equally if you have multiple children registering)

Requests early in the registration period are appreciated, and there is a hard deadline for requests - The deadline for the 2024 Spring Season is December 18th, 2023.

Note that the club has limited funds for scholarships, and there is no guarantee that we will be able to support your request at the level you petition for, so please be considerate in your request and only ask for what you really require. Our goal is to get as many players as possible on the field, and will work with all families to make that happen.

We also will ask that you do your part and volunteer when volunteers are called for. This includes helping with recruiting, assisting the coaches, game-day activities, and anything else you can do to help keep the club active.

Equipment

We are proud to offer a limited number of Equipment Rental Packages for both Boys and Girls this season.

A small non-refundable deposit is collected at the time of rental, and a monthly rental fee is then collected in January, February, March, and April.
At the end of the season, you can return the equipment and all monies will be returned, less the non-refundable deposit.
The other option is you decide to keep the equipment and an invoice will be sent for the balance.

If interested, please reach out to our Equipment Manager, Amina Halsey (equipment@phantomlacrosse.org), and she can go over the rental procedures.
